Malcolm is a philanthropic planner and advisor to private clients and leads Canada’s largest national private foundation business. He joined the Scotiabank Group in 2004 after spending 13 years with three major Toronto charities.

Malcolm is a co-editor of the quarterly journal The Philanthropist and an author for the C.D. Howe Institute on donation tax policy. He was instrumental in the creation of Charitable Options, a category of stock options approved by the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Are all “pains in the neck” the same?  Does pain medication cause addiction?  Is there a role for complementary medicine?  In this seminar you will learn about the different categories of pain.  We will discuss both medical and complementary approaches to treating pain.  We will try to dispel some of the myths associated with narcotics.
